Welcome to the month of May!
As many of you are aware, every month is a city and whoever has the key to the month has the key to the city.
The month can be so wonderful once you know exactly what the key is. God is about to give you the key into your hands so that this month can be better than last month.
We know last month was great, but this month shall be greater. Last month we arose and shone everywhere, but this month shall be better.
You are still arising and shining from last month, but you are about to enter another dimension.
Shout, “I am ready. In the name of Jesus!”
There are two main scriptures for this month of May that I want to share with us and release the word that God has for us.
The first one is in 2 Kings 3:17.
This is what the LORD says: “Though you won’t see wind or storm, nevertheless that river will overflow with water so that you, your cattle, and your livestock may drink.’ (2 Kings 3:17, ISV)
According to the scripture, who says?
The Lord says. Not me please, the Lord says.
You may not see, or it may not look like it, but it is going to happen. That is what the Lord is saying. If you believe God say, “I believe.”
The Lord says, though you won’t see the wind or the storm, nevertheless, that river will overflow.
Let’s read Amos 9:13 –14
Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” GOD’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills (Amos 9:13 –14, MSG).
Did you hear God’s decree?
Things are going to happen so fast that your head will swim. Has your head ever swum before?
Things are going to happen so fast! Remember this is God’s Word. It is in the Bible. The Bible says your head will swim because when things are happening, it will look like a dream but it is actually a reality. If you have never experienced that before I pray that the God of heaven makes you experience it this month. It is supernatural.
In John 10:10, Jesus said,
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” (John 10:10, AMPC).
I love the Bible, Jesus said that He came so we may not only have life, but do what?
“Enjoy life”
Would you like to enjoy life?
I don’t know about you but I subscribed to that many decades ago. I love the life of enjoyment. I believe this Word. The Bible says Jesus came so that I may have and enjoy life. Not just that, but I may have it in abundance to the full until it overflows. Jesus wants you to enjoy life to the full until it overflows.
This prophetic positioning for the month of May will manifest in your life. I believe God is going to shower us with uncommon favor and many of us will begin to walk in the overflow.
In Ephesians 3:20 the Bible tells us that God is able to do, “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.”
That is overflow.
Overflow is a signature of God. That is who He is. He does not do anything small. Everything He does is big. He is not a small God.
Everything God does is what?
“Big!”
He is not a small God. It is you and I that limit Him in our minds and consciousness. He alone deserves the glory because He is a big God.
Overflow is the display of God’s splendor showcase of His capacity to do far too much. This is a special month for you.
If you receive that say, “I receive it.”
This month of May you are going to experience some exciting phenomenon. For some it has already started. Even before the declaration, God already knew that the month of May 2023 you will experience a phenomenon that is beyond your imagination.
There are seven experiences you will have in this month of May for those that truly believe it.
In This Month of May, we shall experience The Overflow of:
- Favor
- Abundance
- Prosperity
- Divine Health
- Creative ideas
- Multiple fold opportunities
- Souls into STBC
Philippians 4:23 says
May every one of you overflow with the grace and favor of our LORD Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 4:23, TPT)
He is talking to you. May you overflow with the grace and favor of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This month the Lord will make an undeniable statement of His blessings in your life.
The Lord shall do away with temporal solutions into permanent solutions.
So, what exactly does this month represent for us in STBC and those that believe in this mission?
Are you ready to receive the spirit behind the word?
Every word has a spirit behind it. If you can catch the spirit, you catch the word.

The month of May is our month of The OVERFLOW!
Celebrate our month of overflow
- Today I declare an overflow of Power into every area of your life.
- In the Name of Jesus Christ, the blessings, prosperity, and abundance of God will overflow in your life and family
- Today I declare that the joy and peace of God will overflow in your life and home in the name of Jesus
- In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that the grace and mercy of God will overflow in your life and destiny
- Today I declare that the wisdom of God will overflow in your life in the name of Jesus
- I decree that the healing power of God will cause your health to overflow to divine health in the name of Jesus
- Today I declare the favor of God will overflow in every area of your life
- This month of May, everywhere you turn shall be overflow of blessing, overflow of goodness, in the name of Jesus!
As I have spoken so shall it be in Jesus’ name
Shout OVERFLOW!
Are you ready for that?
Open your eyes and begin to enjoy it. It has already started.
I pray that you will experience it so that when you speak it, you will be speaking out of reality.
Shout, “Overflow!”
Do you receive it?
Do you believe it?
Do you accept it?
Say, “this is my month of the overflow in Jesus name.”
Shout, “Amen!”
