Ruling Wisely

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” — 1 Corinthians 1:30

Welcome to September, our Month of Kingdom Wisdom.

God has been leading us through a powerful progression. Open doors gave us access. Supernatural victory enabled us to overcome resistance and possess new territory. Now, kingdom wisdom will teach us how to govern what grace has placed in our hands.

Victory gives you territory, but wisdom teaches you how to govern it.

It is possible to receive an opportunity and still mishandle it. It is possible to occupy a position without understanding the responsibility attached to it. It is also possible to win a battle and lose what was gained through poor judgment.

That is why wisdom matters.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” — Proverbs 4:7

This month, God is calling us beyond merely asking for more. He is teaching us how to steward what we already have.

We need wisdom in our marriages, families, relationships, careers, businesses, finances, ministries, and leadership responsibilities. We need wisdom to recognize when to move, when to wait, when to speak, and when to remain silent.

Kingdom wisdom is more than education, experience, or human intelligence. It is the mind of Christ expressed through the decisions of the believer.

According to 1 Corinthians 1:30, Christ has been made wisdom unto us. We are not separated from the wisdom we need. As we renew our minds through God’s Word, yield to the Holy Spirit, receive correction, and walk in humility, the wisdom of Christ becomes visible through our choices.

Throughout September, do not allow fear to hurry you. Do not allow pressure to decide for you. Do not allow pride to prevent you from receiving instruction. Before making important decisions, pause and ask:

  • Does this agree with the Word of God?
  • Does this reflect the character of Christ?
  • What will this decision produce?
  • Am I responding in wisdom or reacting from emotion?

I believe God will bring clarity to areas that have been confusing. He will sharpen your discernment, order your steps, and help you govern every opportunity and responsibility with understanding.

You will not merely possess territory. You will govern it wisely.

You will not merely occupy a position. You will produce righteous results.

You will not merely enter an open door. You will know how to function when you arrive.

September Declaration:

  • Christ is my wisdom.
  • I have a hearing and teachable heart.
  • I receive clarity for every decision before me.
  • I will govern faithfully what God has placed in my hands.
  • By the wisdom of Christ, I am ruling wisely.

Welcome to September, our Month of Kingdom Wisdom.
