Our Month of HARVEST OF SOULS

Welcome to the month of July, the 7th month of the year 2024.

Let us be reminded that number seven (7) represents completeness, and wholeness.

I decree that everything that concerns you will find completeness in this season.

This is a very special month for us in fulfilling the mandate of the Church of Christ.

As we bring about the prophetic positioning for the month of July, I want to start our scripture reading from the book of Luke 10:1-2

After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before His face into every city and place, whither He himself would come.
Therefore said He unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His harvest. (Luke 10:1-2, KJV)

This was prayed over 2,000 years ago, and you and I are the answer to this prayer.

Lift up your right hand and say “Lord, thank you! For I am an answer to that prayer.”

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work.
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest
And He that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another repeat.
I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men labored, and ye are entered their labours. (John 4:34-38, KJV)

How many of you are ready to reap a harvest?

Many time we often think that all the blessings of God in our lives are because we worked for it. That is very far from the truth. No, we are just beneficiaries of the grace of God.

You are alive today not because you took the best care of your health, even though you may try to do that, but it is because of the grace of God.

As we read the scriptures, we see they talk about harvest.

Jesus had the habit of sending people out to talk about him. The same way Jesus did it then, He is doing it now to us. He wants us to go out and bring in the harvest.

What you make happen to others, God will make happen to you. As you take care of another man’s business, Somehow God will send others to take care of what pertains to you.

So let us not make our service to God be only about us, what we will get, or what we would receive. The One that gave us life also has an agenda. He has a mission. He has a mandate. We must understand what He wants and what He sent us here for.

God decided to let us put this month of July aside to pursue vigorously on His agenda.

There are three (3) important things that we must do in this month of July for prophetic positioning:

Win Souls everywhere – Be decisive
Get involved in our home church and set up new ones
Give into God’s Work – For the furtherance of God’s Work

But since you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you – see that you also excel in this grace of giving (2 Corinthians 8:7, NIV)

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (2 Corinthians 9:8, KJV)

God can grace you with every blessing and favor in richness. This is not just about money, but giving and receiving is very important in this work with the Lord.

The Word of Jesus was about the entire concept of giving. Sow the seed of anything good you want from life in others, it will then grow and multiply in your own life.

In this month of July, God wants us to focus on souls. Jesus does not want any to perish.

There are so many people in our lives that do not know Jesus.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9, KJV)

Jesus’ burning desire is that those the Father has given Him will be with Him where He is.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. (John 17:24)

The reason Jesus was born, died, and rose again was so that as many as believe would have eternal life.

God wants all that believe in him to receive eternal life. He wants people to be saved. He wants your enemy to be saved. He wants wayward children to be saved. He wants your boss to be saved. He wants your employees and your employers to be saved.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16, KJV)

God really want us to pay attention to the souls of men, bring in the harvest, and forget about ourselves for a moment. Take the decisive effort.

What do you have to do to see the harvest of Souls?

Set goals:
Set goals of how many people you want to talk to in a week; and how many souls you want to win for the Lord in the month of July?

Look everywhere for prospects:
See every contact you meet as a soul-winning contact, both physically and online.

Go into the community:
Reach people in your physical community and online community.

Keep that spirit of faith:
The real soul winner is the Holy Ghost. Remember and believe that He is using you as a witness.

Follow up with every prospect:
Be diligent. Record their names and contact information. Call, send a note, or visit them.

Don’t make life about you. Make life about your creator and you will not lose. I guarantee you.

If you put God’s agenda number one in your life, God will make sure everything you touch prospers. Even those that don’t like you will be fighting on your behalf.
