I want to welcome you to this special month of December.
How many of you are happy that you saw December?
We have come to the final month of this year of manifestation. A month that is destined for a remarkable season of joy, and not just that, an all-round celebration.
For many of us, it has been an amazing year, and now we have come to the very last month.
It is a season to look back at the Lord’s goodness and look forward with a grateful heart rejoicing in His continued faithfulness.
As we come to the end of the year, we celebrate God’s abundant grace, protection, and favor that He has bestowed upon us.
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. (Ecclesiastes 7:8, KJV)
You are not at the end of your life yet. That means that the best is yet to come.
Apostle Ese Duke
As we have come to the end of this year, look back to what the Lord has done.
This December, we have entered a season of extraordinary joy. A time to celebrate what the Lord has done and to anticipate even greater things yet to manifest in our lives.
In this month of December, the Lord says we set our sail for a season of great joy.
You are setting your sail in the direction of which you want things to go. A season of extraordinary pleasure. A season of excitement of what the Lord has done.
You know, in this month of December and beyond, we need to be reminded that we must have the mindset and the consciousness of the prophetic mandate. We must have a mindset of celebration, and we need to have the consciousness of this throughout this month knowing that God has something great in store for us.
This month of December, it shall be a December to remember. It shall be a December marked with celebrations.
Now I have a few scriptures for us to think about this month of December that I believe would help you to set your sail for the rest of this month and even beyond.
The first scripture is taken from the book of Philippians 4:4
Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! (Philippians 4:4, TPT)
You see, joy becomes our response when we remember the faithfulness of God throughout our lives.
Has God been faithful to you?
When you look back at your life, at the beginning of this year, 2024, how God has kept you throughout this year, and that you are here today, it is God’s faithfulness.
Do you know how many times the devil has tried to get you out of here but you are still here? God is faithful.
Many times, the devil has tried to get you out of serving the Lord, but you are still standing.
You have to be cheerful and be joyful.
Apostle Ese Duke
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalm 100:1-2;4, NLT)
God wants us to have the heart and the attitude of celebration and be cheerful that our life is a testament of God’s faithfulness.
When you look at the scripture and also at the beginning of the year, you can see and know that God has turned most of our mourning into joyful dances.
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, (Psalm 30:11, NLT)
We enter this season of December with a joyful attitude, that God has given us beauty for ashes. Joy for mourning.
To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for His own glory. (Isaiah 61:3, NLT)
For this month of December, because of what God has done, we need to have the consciousness or the mindset of celebration.
As begun to seek the face of the Lord about the prophetic positioning for this month, I heard the word “joyful” and I hear the word “celebration.”
I want to declare right now to you that celebration will not cease in your household. You will always have a reason to celebrate.
Apostle Ese Duke
You may say “But things are not the way I want them to be.” See, God is able to bring light out of the darkness. Yes, God can do that. He can turn your circumstances around in a moment.
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6, NIV)
As we have entered the month of December, we need to have time to just celebrate God’s faithfulness.
Is God faithful to you? Has God been good to you?
Many times, people are counting their problems and forgetting to count God’s faithfulness.
God is faithful. You have to celebrate.
This month, we celebrate:
- The life of God in us – Rejoice that we carry God’s eternal life and presence within us.
- The peace of God – Celebrate the deep peace that only He can provide.
- Victory over life’s challenges – Our faith in Christ assures us of victory in all things.
- Divine protection – We are under God’s shield and His angels watch over us.
- Increase and blessings – Thank God for His provision and abundance in every area of your life.
- Healing and health – Celebrate both physical and spiritual health by God’s hand.
- Provision and abundance – God is our provider, meeting all our needs.
- Grace, mercy, and favor – Rejoice in the outpouring of God’s unending grace upon us.
- Prosperity in all things – Give thanks for the ways God brings success and purpose to our lives.
- The Good News of Jesus Christ – Rejoice in the love and redemption we have received through Christ.
In this month of December, I proclaim that God has placed you higher than your peers, in the realm of the spirit.
As we close this year, this month of December, the overflow of God’s abundant provision shall manifest in your life.
Apostle Ese Duke
If you believe say, “Amen.”
As you set your sail towards joyful celebration, all-round celebration becomes your experience.
Take your mind off sadness, calamities, and problems. Put your mind on celebration, joy, and on the goodness of God.
You may say “But pastor, you don’t understand what I am going through.”
I understand and I know what I am talking about.
Never despise your small beginnings because what God has in store for you will find expression in your life as you declare God’s word over your life no matter what you see.
In this month of joyful celebration, I declare over you:
- Enter into your season of celebration, in Jesus’ name! I decree celebration is your portion.
- Every door of celebration is open to you now, in Jesus’ name!
- May the wind of celebration blow over you, your family, and your work.
- Any embargo on your celebration is lifted in Jesus’ name!
- Any power resisting your celebration shall be defeated, in Jesus’ name!
- Every altar raised against your joy shall be broken, in Jesus’ name!
- Angels of celebration will locate you, bringing you joy unspeakable.
- Rain of celebration will fall upon your household, your career, and every area of your life.
- God will clothe you with the garment of celebration.
- Celebration will resound in your house and from your mouth all the remaining days of this year.
- Everywhere you turn for the rest of this month, it shall give you reason to celebrate.
- Whatever was meant to bring you sorrow by the auction of the Holy Ghost, I decree favor and celebration is released upon you, your family, your household, your business, your home, in the name of Jesus.
- Those who are angry that you are always happy will find more reason to be angry, in the name of Jesus. Their anger will not stop your celebration because your prosperity is not your fault. It is just your time. Your celebration is not your fault. It is just your season.
So, as you connect to this grace and this mandate:
- The spirit of celebration shall overwhelm you
- You shall celebrate
- Your joy shall overflow
- Praises will not depart out of your lips
The Egyptians you have seen, the enemy you have seen for a while, you shall see them no more. The evil that tries to steal your joy shall be nowhere to be found near you anymore, in the name of Jesus.
Apostle Ese Duke
You shall experience a joy-filled December, in the name of Jesus.
If you believe say, “Amen!”
I believe many of you already know what the month of December 2024 is meant to be for you.
How many of you would like to receive that word?
I know you know but I have to speak it unto us and to myself. As I am speaking to you, I am the first to receive it.
So, I decree the month of December 2024, shall be our month of CELEBRATION!
Come on shout!
Now the best way to make the devil really mad is that you have to choose to celebrate every little thing:
- You get a nice parking space, celebrate.
- You gain a pound of weight, or you lose a pound of weight, celebrate.
- You have a nice haircut, celebrate.
- You married in church, celebrate.
- You eat some rice and chicken, celebrate.
- Your best friend leaves your life, celebrate.
- A nice one coming? Celebrate
- You get bad news from the doctor, celebrate
- You get a raise in your paychecks, celebrate
- You buy a new dress? Celebrate
- You move your shoe, celebrate
- You move your hands, celebrate
That is how we do it. That is how we have done it for decades. Just celebrate!
As you celebrate, your life can only go higher and higher.
Celebrate!
This December, as we embrace this theme of Joyful Celebration, let us carry this spirit of joy into all we do.
May your hearts be filled with praise, your voices lifted with gratitude, and your lives adorned with His joy that never fades.
Welcome to December 2024 – Our Month of Joyful Celebration.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this month of Joyful Celebration. Fill our hearts with thanksgiving and grant us grace to rejoice always.
May Your light continue to shine in us as we celebrate Your goodness.
Let our joy overflow and may Your praises never depart from our lips. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prepare for a Joy-Filled December!
